Free practice test for the Swedish citizenship test
A short diagnostic test that shows where you stand across the thirteen areas the civics citizenship test is based on. It is free, needs no account and gives you the result immediately.
What the test is
The test is 8 questions, one from each of eight chapters of the UHR and Skolverket study material Sverige i fokus (2026). The eight chapters are spread across the whole material, from the first to the thirteenth, so the result says something about how broadly you know it. The questions have four options and one correct answer, exactly as UHR describes the exam format.
How long it takes
About two minutes. You tap an answer and the next question arrives on its own. You can go back and change an answer before submitting.
What you get back
- Your score: how many of the 8 questions you answered correctly.
- A result per area: right or wrong in each area you were asked about. It is an indication of where you stand, not a grade.
- Which areas are your strongest and weakest.
- Every question you got wrong, with an explanation of why the right answer is right and why each of the other three options is wrong.
How to read your result
The result shows right or wrong by area so you know where to start.
Where the questions come from
Every question is built on checkable facts in Sverige i fokus, the only material UHR states the exam is based on. The diagnostic draws on a reserved set of 26 questions, never used in training or in the mock exams, so you do not see the practice material in advance.
The thirteen areas
