About Medborgarklar
Medborgarklar is built for one thing: so that someone who has been referred to the citizenship test in civics knows where they stand and can practise exactly what is missing.
How the content was made
We read Sverige i fokus (2026) by UHR and Skolverket and extracted the checkable facts: dates, institutions, figures, rights. From those we wrote 356 questions in the format of the exam — four options, one correct — each with an explanation of why the right answer is right and why each of the other three is wrong. Everything exists in Swedish and English. We do not copy the text of the material; we use it as a source of facts.
How the 356 questions are divided
| Part of the bank | Count | What it is used for |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnostic | 26 | Two questions per area. Never used in training or in the mock exams. |
| Training | 150 | The questions you practise area by area. |
| Reserved for mock exams | 180 | Three 60-question exams with not a single question in common. Never shown in training or in the diagnostic. |
| Total | 356 |
No question is used in more than one of the three parts. That is why a mock exam actually measures something: you have not seen the questions before.
What we do not do
- We do not display a countdown to an exam date UHR has not published.
- We do not invent a pass mark and give no prediction of whether you will pass.
- We do not claim to be, or to work with, a public authority.
- We do not promise that you will pass.
- We do not invent judgements about you from a single question per area.
If you find an error
Every question has an id shown in the service. Write to hej@medborgarklar.com with the question id and what you believe is wrong. We acknowledge within 5 working days, reply with our assessment within 20 working days, and publish the correction if we were wrong. The full procedure is in the terms.
