What the service is — and is not
Medborgarklar is a private practice tool for the Swedish citizenship test in civics. The service is not affiliated with UHR, Skolverket or the Migration Agency, is not an official service, and cannot register you for the test, change your application or influence a decision. Registration for the test happens with UHR after a referral letter from the Migration Agency.
Origin of the content
The questions and explanations are written by us from checkable factual information in Sverige i fokus — study material for the citizenship test (UHR and Skolverket, 2026). We do not reproduce the text of that material; we use it as a source of facts. Every question states which chapter the fact comes from.
Correcting an error in a question
Every question has an id shown in the service. If you find a factual error:
- Write to hej@medborgarklar.com stating the question id and what you believe is wrong.
- We acknowledge your report within 5 working days.
- We check the fact against Sverige i fokus and reply with our assessment within 20 working days.
- If we were wrong we correct the question and publish the correction in the service. Corrected questions are replaced in every pool at the same time.
No guarantees about results
We do not, and cannot, promise that you will pass the test. UHR has not published a pass mark, and we therefore give no prediction of whether you will pass. The figures we show are based solely on your own answers inside our service.
Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your password secret. We may close accounts used to copy or redistribute our content.
The watch lists
You can leave your email address to receive one email when a specific fact is published: the date and locations of the next sitting, or the pass mark. They are two separate lists and you choose either, the other, or both. Being on a list is free, requires no account and is not tied to a purchase.
- We never email an address that has not been confirmed. After the form we send a confirmation email, and only once you click the link in it can the address be used.
- We send only what you asked for. One email about the fact you are watching. No advertising, no newsletter you did not choose, and no selling in the email beyond a link back to the entry.
- Leaving takes one click. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately, with no login and no reason required.
- The list is not sold, not shared and never uploaded to any advertising network. That includes hashed form, and includes building lookalike audiences.
How the addresses are processed, how long they are kept and on what legal basis is set out in the privacy policy.
Age and capacity to contract
The service is aimed at people aged 16 and over, because the knowledge requirement applies from the age of 16. A person aged 16 or 17 is a minor and under Swedish law has limited capacity to enter into contracts. A purchase made by someone under 18 therefore requires the consent of a legal guardian. We may ask for that consent to be evidenced and may cancel a purchase made without it. A free account can be created from the age of 16 without consent.
Payment, price and currency
The price is a one-off amount of SEK 399 including VAT for 24 months of access. The amount is charged in Swedish kronor (SEK); any euro figures on the website are informative conversions only and are not the amount debited. Payment is handled by our payment provider and no card details are stored by us. The sale is made from Luxembourg to a consumer in Sweden, and Swedish VAT is reported through the EU one stop shop scheme. A receipt is sent automatically by email after the purchase.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance purchases. The conditions, the exception for digital content supplied immediately and the standard withdrawal form are on the Right of withdrawal page. At checkout you will have to tick a mandatory, not pre-ticked box expressly consenting to access starting immediately and confirming that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. We record the time of that consent and can provide it to you on request.
What the 24 months cover
Throughout the access period we update the questions and simulations whenever UHR changes the format, the pass mark or the content of Sverige i fokus. The updates are included in the price.
The language test (reading and listening), to be introduced by 1 October 2027 at the latest, is not included in this purchase. The purchase covers the civics test only. Any future support for the language test will be a separate product.
Intellectual property
The questions, explanations, texts and design belong to Jordi Bravo. You may use them for your own practice. You may not copy, sell or publish them.
Liability
The service is provided as it stands. We work to keep the information correct and update it when UHR or the Migration Agency publish something new, but we are not responsible for decisions you take based on the content. Always check your own situation against the Migration Agency's and UHR's own information.
Governing law
Luxembourg law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country of residence within the EU.
Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes are announced on this page with a new date.
